International Military Music Festival - Spasskaya tower 2014 is to open in Moscow, Russia, on Saturday, August 30, 2014 on Red Square. Everything is ready but the weather which is very unstable today with periodical showers. The festival is to be held from August 30th to September 7th 2014 in the wake of the Days of Moscow City. Usually State Honor Guards and military music bands from around the world take part in this annual festival. The Vieux-Grenadiers Company. The Grenadiers corps, being the very best of the Geneva militia, was created in 1686. In October 1749, fourteen Grenadiers decide to meet, alongside their professional activities, with the aim to strengthen their friendship. The 'Circle of Grenadiers' - later being the Society of the 'Vieux-Grenadiers' - was born. Today it is one of the oldest patriotic societies of Geneva, with its motto: 'Homeland-Family-Friendship' Grenadiers on Red Square of Moscow.
