Fishermen in the Harlem Meer in Central Park in New York on Thursday, May 2, 2013 are advised to retain any Snakehead fish that they caught and to not return them to the Meer. The voracious invasive species has been spotted in the park and its presence can be devastating to the local fauna living in the man-made lake. The possession of the fish or its eggs as well as the sale and transport is a federal crime. (© Richard B. Levine)
