Royal Windsor Wheel Windsor Berkshire Windsor residents and visitors will be flying high this summer as the town welcomes its very own version of the London Eye to Alexandra Gardens The 55 metre 180ft diameter wheel to be sited at the eastern end of Alexandra Gardens will open on Saturday July 8 until Sunday September 3 seven days a week from 11 am to 9 pm Forty observation pods each carrying a maximum of six people will take visitors on a 20 minute experience with spectacular views over the battlements of Windsor Castle the River Thames and the Thames Valley
