The Cucumbers grow long and slim, sometimes measuring 12 inches in length; the color is a rich, dark, glossy green, which they hold until nearly ripe. It is very tender, brittle and of fine flavor. This variety was discovered in a field of Davis Perfect, and is now so thoroughly established that large fields of it do not show any variation in plant or fruit. Vines mike a strong growth and produce an abundant crop of Cucumbers, which are slightly larger than Arlington Wliite Spine, more cylindrical and have dark green skin. Oz., 15 cts.; % lb., 40 cts.; lb., Klondike. This valuable variety is one of the best for slicing, and will produce Cucumbers equal in appearance to the hot-house grown specimen. The color is rich, dark green, and the fruits grow to a uniform size, measuring about seven inches in length and two inches thick. A good shipper.
