Truth takes its place at the veryfoundation of Christianity and is so vi-tally related to Christianity that it can-not exist without it. In this presenta-tion of Christianity, as compared to Juda-ism, St. Paul offers truth as the firstprinciple. He says, Whatsoever thingsare true. (Phil., 4:8.) Fromthese two Scriptural quotations, andespecially from the one in James, it isshown beyond question that to be with-out truth is to be without God. Chris-tianity lives as the result of embodyingand promoting truth. The very opposite is true of Freema-sonry. Freemasonry lives as the resultof embodying and propagating 24, as laid down in the Ma-sonic Constitution, contains the follow-ing paragraph: The temple of Solo-mon was the cradle of the institution,and, therefore, the reference to the op-erative masonry which constructed thatmagnificent edifice to the materials andimplements which were employed in itsconstruction and the artists who were en-gaged in the building are all componentand essential parts of Freemasonrywhich could not be subtracted from itwitho
