A single Central Mudminnow (18 mm TL) was the only age 0 fish found in late May. Quillback ( ± mm; N = 42) next appeared (early June), but was not record- ed after late June. Johnny Darters (9-11 mm), which first appeared in early June, contributed to the total catch (1839 fishes). Small numbers of recently hatched Common Carp (5-7 mm) were also caught in early June, but were not found after mid-July. No adult Gizzard Shad were caught on any date. However, Shad larvae were found sporadically until early Sep-.
