The wonderful plateau at Passo Rolle, a high altitude mountain pass linking the Primiero Valley to the Fiemme Valley, in Trentino Alto- Adige region, Italy. The imposing cone of the Castellazzo dominates this area. The Castellazzo is famous for the statue of the Cristo Pensante (Thinking Christ), placed on top of the mountain in 2009. This was an area of fierce fightings between the Italians and the Austro-Hingarians during WWI.
