A Hellenistic Pilos type helmet, 4th century Bronze helmet with a tall conical skull. The flaring rim bordered by two raised bands. Pairs of holes on either side with soldered, pierced disk appliqués bearing wheel decoration. The crest reinforced by a cap with chase decorated edge (ancient repair?) topped by a riveted crest holder. Fragments of two riveted horn attachments on either side. Height cm, weight 798 g.
