CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (June 29, 2021) Navy Senior Chief Logistics Specialist Doug Cowles, from Clinton Township, Mich., has been the postal officer at United States Postal Service aboard Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa, since November 2020. Soon, Cowles will be heading back home. Camp Lemonnier’s post office can sort up to 4,500 pounds of mail per day. Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation that enables , allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
