A small but very vocal demonstration came to an abrupt end almost as soon as it started, opposite the Israeli Embassy in The Hague this afternoon; although permission to demonstrate was granted. The police showed no restrain and physically moved the demonstrators to a new location some two-hundred meters away from the embassy, with mounted police used to back-up an already ‘over-the-top’ police presence; the demonstrators were relocated within minutes. The demonstrations were there to condemn the present Israeli, Gaza situation at large, with some carrying pasters condemning the now referred to ‘Flour Massacre’ of Thursday last, where at least 104 people were killed, and around 760 were wounded. Since October 7th last, the Palestinian health authorities said 30,035 Palestinian were confirmed killed and more than 70,000 wounded. The UN says a quarter of Gaza’s million face starvation and around 80% have fled their homes.
