Well, that's all right, but this one is going to make room for itself, for all that. It origin- ated at Fort Atkinson, with Thomas Crane, and was introduced for the first time by us last season. The pods are large, finely shaped and well filled with large, delicious peas. The dried peas are large, light- yellow, very much dented. It is an entirely distinct variety. There is one good feature about the Orion which the Telephone and others do not possess, and that is,that when the peas are cooked the skin of the Orion is soft and tender, while Telephone and other similar sorts have a tough skin which is very noticeable in the eating.
