Two public phone booths next to the Australia Post Office in the town of Wee Waa, Australia, population 2080 (2016).


The town name is pronounced 'we-war'. The Aboriginal meaning of Wee Waa is "Fire for Roasting" from the language of the Kamilaroi people. The Kamilaroi Highway runs through the town on its way to Bourke a further 375km west.
