At all events, the dressingmust be used unsparingly, and is better fastened on witha bandage of starched material. Outside of all a reten-tive bandage, like one or other of those here represented,will be found very serviceable. Sometimes an ice-bagapplied to the head, or an ice-cap, will be found of ad-vantage, especially if oozing be feared.
