Five-story pagoda (with meters / 122 feet height) is considered one of the two oldest wood buildings in the world with the side-by-side Hall called Kondo. Sai-in area. Courtyard of Horyu-ji (Temple of the Flourishing Law), Buddhist Temple. Horyu-ji is part of the Buddhist Monuments in the Horyu-ji Area, added to the Unesco World Heritage List in 1993. It keeps some of the oldest extant wooden buildings in the world (7th - 8th centuries). Ikaruga. Nara Prefecture. Kansai (aka Kinki) region. Japan
