Nablus, West Bank, Palestine. 23 June 2022. The funeral ceremony of Palestinian Nabil Ghanem, 53, takes place in the village of Surra, west of Nablus, soon after the Israeli authorities returned his body to his family. Ghanem was shot dead by Israeli forces as he was trying to cross the separation wall near Qalqilya on Sunday, on his way to work in Israel. Mourners at the funeral raised the Fatah flag alongside the Palestinian national flag. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry deems the shooting of Nabil Ghanem on Sunday a “field execution”
