Cw 6464 Foulridge upper reservoir Foulridge upper reservoir on the morning of Wednesday as autumn draws on the water levels are still low. This reservoir feeds down through the Foulridge lower reservoir and then into Barrowford reservoir before the water is released into the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Following the lack of any substantial rainfall over the summer and into autumn the Canal and River Trust have once again announced that the locks on Leeds and Liverpool canal from Gargrave to Wigan will close from 28th of November 2018.
