8 EVERETT, Wash. (Dec 28, 2018) Incoming Commanding Officer, Cmdr. Warren A. Hakes, passes through the "side boys" during the Afloat Training Group Pacific Northwest change of command ceremony held at Naval Station Everett. Cmdr. Hakes is relieving Commanding Officer Cmdr., John Bartak as the commanding officer of the Afloat Training Group. Afloat Training Group Pacific Northwest provides surface ships (including Coast Guard) with education, training, assessments and certifications to maximize training efficiency and effectiveness.
