ANGIE, ZOWIE AND DAVID BOWIE in 1974. Zowie (b. 30 May 1971) now prefers to be called Duncan Jones.

The family were in Amsterdam in February 1974 for David to accept an Edison Award for his Ziggy Stardust album. Bowie and his wife Angie christened their son Duncan Zowie Haywood Jones (born May 1971), but he now calls himself Joe and works under the name of Duncan Jones . His birth prompted Bowie to write the song "Kooks" for his 1971 album Hunky Dory.
