Black Thill - Sesame or Thil or Til is used as a spice in a number of Indian Food Preparations (Sesamum indicum) is a flowering plant in the genus Sesamum. It is widely naturalized in tropical regions around the world and is cultivated for its edible seeds, which grow in pods. The small sesame seed is used whole in cooking for its rich nutty flavour, and also yields sesame seeds are sometimes added to breads, including bagels and the tops of hamburger buns. Sesame is also used for making a laddu - a round ball shaped sweet savoury popular throughout India
