Retired Lt. Col. Adolf Wesselhoeft signs a copy of his autobiography for members fo the 307th Bomb Wing at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, March 22, 2019. He was attending the graduation ceremony for Formal Traiing Unit Class 18-02 and provided the books at no cost after the event. Wesselhoeft was deported from the United States at age seven only to return and become a B-52 Stratofortress navigator.
