5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (NOV. 04, 2017) A Marine Corps CH-53 Super Stallion, assigned to the Grey Hawks of Marine Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron 161 (VMM-161), lifts off from the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52). Pearl Harbor is deployed in the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigations and the free flow of commerce in the region.
