An officer's small-sword, mid-18th century Very robust Colichemarde blade of triangular section, the forte etched with trophies and scrolling foliage. Large brass hilt with symmetrical, flat guard plate and ridged knuckle-bow. Grip with elaborate iron wire binding and Turk's heads. Faceted pommel with small rivet at top.
