Marine advisors with Task Force Southwest listen as their Afghan counterparts deliver their weekly situation reports to General Daud Ghulam Tarakhel, the commanding general of the 505th Zone National Police, at Bost Airfield, Afghanistan, July 5, 2017. The meeting served as an opportunity for the new zone commander to meet all of the Marine advisors. Task Force Southwest, comprised of approximately 300 Marines and Sailors from II Marine Expeditionary Force, are training, advising and assisting the Afghan National Army 215th Corps and the 505th Zone National Police.
