American soldiers shopping for Arctic furs at bargain prices in Archangel, North Russia during World War One. The furs attracted many buyers in the American North Russian Expeditionary Forces. This photograph was taken by an official photographer and received on January 31st, 1919. Shortly after, it was released by the AEP censor on February 1st, 1919.
