KOORIYAMA, Japan (Aug. 25, 2018) Chief petty officer (CPO) selectees from Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi-area commands pose for a group photo during the Tomioka Town Social Welfare Center summer festival. The festival, currently in its seventh year, is held in Koriyama where citizens from Tomioka relocated to in the aftermath of the March 11, 2011 natural disasters which struck Japan’s Tohoku region. During the festival, NAF Atsugi’s CPO selectees demonstrated Navy and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force cadences, sang Anchors Aweigh and joined their hosts in various other performances.
