Aerial view of Gunung Abang, in the highlands of Bali, Indonesia. 2153m

The third highest volcano in all of Bali. It lies to the east of Danau Batur. Abang used to be part of the original Mount Batur, but when this 4,000 metre volcano erupted thousands of years ago, it left nothing but a large caldera and a small cone, the present day Batur within.
