The drawing style of the ancient images related to that of several other in Berlin's sketchbook. The figure on the left corresponds to a degree figure on fol. 36 Jan Bishop's Pradigmata Graphices, from 1671 BC. Huelsen and H. Egger confirmed the Bishop's attribution to Heemskerck. Ram head could be drawn to those on the pedestal of a cadeladrum in S. Constanza (later in the Vatican Museum) or on a pedestal in the courtyard of the palace of Cardinal della valle. [ Bean, 1978]
