Two Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules conduct formation flight training with two Air Force C-130Js in the Philippines, April 9, 2019, as part of Exercise Balikatan. Exercises like Balikatan help maintain a high level of readiness and responsiveness, and it enhances combined military-to-military relations and capabilities. The Marine Corps C-130s are assigned to the Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 152 out of Iwakuni, Japan, and the Air Force C-130s are assigned to the 302nd Airlift Squadron out of Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.
