Salmson 'A' engine of Salmson 270 used for Corps d'Armee observation work during World War One. The aircraft had a speed of 115 mph at 6500 ft and could climb up to 16500 feet in 27 minutes. It had an endurance of 2 hours and 45 minutes at ground consumption. Equipped with one stationary gun, two flexible guns, radio, and camera. Photograph taken in 1919.
