An English silver-mounted hunting sword, circa 1740 Slightly curved, single-edged blade with a double-edged point and fullers on both sides. Slightly pitted in places. The silver hilt richly decorated in relief, the guard with a sculpted mascaron. Richly decorated all over with trophy bundles, mascarons and scrolling leaves in relief.
