Sailors assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) remove chocks and chains from an MH-53E Sea Dragon, attached to the “Vanguard” of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron (HM) 14, on the flight deck, June 6, 2022. Ford is underway in the Atlantic Ocean conducting a Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) assessment to report ship readiness and ensure all spaces and equipment meet Navy standards.
