Elegant Seated Buddha at Wat Si Chum, Sukhothai Historical Park

The ruins, crumbled temples and the many graceful buddhas in the Sukhothai Historical Park, are one of the most impressive Unesco World Heritage Sites. This was the first capital of Thailand. On the northwest end of the park is Wat Si Chum with this majestic, elegant, seated Buddha. Photographed in May 2014.
