Brockenhaus on Brocken in Harz Mountains Germany

Editorial use only. Brockenhaus on top of Brocken is a museum for witches and such creatures who have been associated with this mountain. There is also a stone dedicated to the German poet Heinrich Heine who have visited the mountain. Brocken is the highest hill in the Harz Mountains at 1142 metres and was used extensively as a listening post by the East Germans & Sovjets during the cold war.
