PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 16, 2016) Petty Officer 2nd Class Mario Otero recovers after giving the signal to launch an F/A-18E Super Hornet from Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 192 “Golden Dragons” on the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) flight deck. The Carl Vinson Strike Group is currently underway conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
