The Palazzo dei Cavalieri in the beautiful Piazza dei Cavalieri (Knights Square) in Pisa.
The Palazza dei Cavalieri stands in the square of the same name in Pisa Italy. The Piazza and the building take their name from the Knights of St Stephen. The Palazza was originally a school for the Knights. It was renovated in the 1560s. The facade shows busts of the Medici Dukes. Since 1846 it has been occupied by the prestigious Ecole Normale Superiore, an elite school for science and the humanities and part of the University of Pisa.
