PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 20, 2017) Capt. Craig Clapperton, commanding officer of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), signs “We Are TR” contracts for Sailors on the forward mess deck. “We Are TR” contracts are an agreement between Theodore Roosevelt Sailors and the commanding officer, rewarding avoidance of destructive decisions with special liberty. Theodore Roosevelt is off the coast of Southern California conducting routine training operations.
