DARDANELLES STRAIT (Oct. 11, 2014) – Gunner's Mate 2nd Class Kevin Rokes and Electronics Technician 3rd Class Keng Von man the .50-caliber machine gun as the 6th Fleet command and control ship USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) as the ship passes through the Turkish Straights. Mount Whitney is conducting naval operations with allies in the 6th Fleet area of operations in order to advance security and stability in Europe.
