The Orificial Surgeons have claimedthese natural pouches as a new discovery and callthem lesions, which possess a horrible reflexpower, causing almost all the diseases of the body,from the brain to the muscles. They cure themby the American Operation, or sometimes bymerely splitting them down on a blunt hook.
