Sydney, Australia. 14 February 2017. Supporters assembled in Redfern/Waterloo on the thirteenth anniversary of the death of Thomas ‘TJ’ Hickey. The death of the 17 year old Aboriginal boy sparked the Redfern riots. Protesters blame the police for his death. They marched from Waterloo to Redfern station. From there (probably due to the rain) they got on the train to Martin Place station to continue the protest in front of the NSW Parliament.
