The light of the sky is concen-trated near the middle of the com])osition, just above the horizon, where thestrong rays of the setting sun accentuate with vigorous touches the edges ofstorm clouds which are tossed and torn by the wind, and is repeated in a modi-fied strength by reflections in the still water in the near foreground.
