Inside the ruins of Togchin temple, Bodg Khan Mountains, Mongolia

Togchin, a huge Buddhist monastery complex of over 20 temples and 300 monks used to exist in this area before it was destroyed by the Mongolian Communists in the 1937. A small monastery, Manzishir Monastery, was rebuilt in recent years. The Bodg Khan mountains are one of the few areas where trees are more common. The blue scarves represent the sky in the Tengri religion.
