Bill Matheny, the 122nd Engineer Battalion commander, South Carolina National Guard, gives his Soldiers a strategic understanding of the relief efforts going on in Georgetown, South Carolina, as they fill HESCO barriers at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital Sept. 25, 2018. As of Sept. 22, 2018, approximately 2,400 South Carolina National Guard Airmen and Soldiers have been mobilized for evacuation support with assistance from the Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Alaska, New York and Wisconsin National Guards.
