Luxory Cavalry broadsword, circa 1800 Straight Damascus blade with offset fullers. Moulded gilt brass hilt. At top of the guard the banner "Adamas et Margarita" over "BF" and maker inscription "Bapst & Falize", at bottom a coat of arms and the motto "Dei gratia sum quod sum". The knuckle guard featuring the image of Archangel Michael fighting against Satan, the grip in the form of a female figure, crown pommel. Simple iron scabbard with one movable suspension ring.
