de Havilland Mosquito bomber, De Havilland Aircraft Museum, London Colney

This Mosquito bomber was built just too late to see action in WW2, but served with RAF Bomber Command. It was the ultimate bomber version of the de Havilland Mosquito, an advanced design with no defensive armament, which was principally made of wood. It is on display at the De Havilland Aircraft Museum, London Colney
