View N of the Cairn of Get short, double-horned Neolithic chambered tomb, Caithness, Scotland, UK, showing the S forecourt, entrance passage & burial chamber. A narrow entrance passage leads to a rectangular outer compartment & an inner circular one. Fragmentary remains of at least seven unburnt human skeletons (including skulls) were found on a burnt layer in the outer chamber. The inner chamber held a thick cremation deposit comprising wood ashes & charcoal, burnt & unburnt human bones, burnt animal bones, burnt pottery, flint tools & arrowheads. Unburnt bones lay on the burnt layer. There is also a horned forecourt at the N end of the short rectangular cairn whose E & W sides are slightly concave. The Fort of Garrywhin is on the hill rear L, a small round cairn with an exposed burial cist is visible by the path rear R.
