Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 352, Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, start an organized run from Marine Corps Air Station Miramar to Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, Nov. 9, 2022. The 160-mile run was led and organized by Capt. Tyler Chittick, a former infantry unit leader, and now KC-130J Super Hercules pilot with VMGR-352, known as the Raiders. Chittick conducted this run in 2012 in honor of his friend and fellow Marine, Sgt. Milan Franklin, who was wounded in Afghanistan in 2010, losing both his legs.
