The womans face is apt to show a PUERPERAL SEPSIS. 705 dusky flush on one or both checks, and red splotches appear onother parts of the body, especially upon the chest. In the course of the disease evidences of pyemia may appear,and phlegmasia alba dolcns will almost surely develop, either asthe predominant symptom or as a mere incident in the course ofthe disease. Treatment.—The treatment of phlebitis should consist of a.
