The Fife fishing village of Pittenweem viewed from the Coastal Path to the south west of the harbour. Pittenwem is both a holiday destination and a working fishing of the houses, especially those near the sea and/or the harbour are holiday lets or second homes. However there is a thriving fishing industry centred on the village. It specialises on crabs, lobster, prawns and scallops. Produce is exported to France, Spain and the Netherlands. The Fife Coastal Path runs through the village. A number of artists have set up home here or have workshops and galleries.
