Anonymous, c. 1850, General: x x 7cm 115 x 114 x 70mm, Cast brass candle lighter with a domed high with an open ear attached to pierce a finger. In the middle of the foot a rod with a thickened button and a profiled button on top. The tinder holder lies in a circle around the rod on the knot and has two wavy ends that can be pinched to make sparks with an iron tongue on a flint disk to ignite the tinder. A cone-shaped mouthpiece is attached to a chain at the end of the tinder holder, 1937
