Type.—The lectotype female of E. fulvipes Cresson is at the Philadelphia Academy of ^'atural Sciences. It is from the Rocky Mts., Colorado Territory (Ridings), no. The type female of E. simulatrix Viereck and Cockerell from White Oaks, N. Mex. is at the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences, no. Distribution.—E. fulvipes Cresson is largely a Rocky Mts. species. Its range extends from southern Alberta, Canada south to near the Mexican border. Numerous females have been taken as far north as Alberta at Medicine Hat, Manyberries and Lethbridge. Prey record.—None. Plant records.—Achillea sp. (Idaho). Chrysothamnus sp. (Idaho).
